This Is London: An [ongoing] project series by Bethan Dadson and Ella Tshibambi-Niles.
A photo series that serves as a portrayal of women of colour from London; a place that we are grown up in yet not always accepted due to the colour of our skin. The series highlights the complexities of identity, belonging, and resilience in a city that often marginalises its most diverse communities. The recurring theme of red, white, and blue pays homage to the Union Jack flag, subtly questioning who the symbol truly represents and reflecting on the layers of both pride and exclusion tied to national identity.
